Forming many ideas in a short space of time is a great way to let your ideas unfold and find new ideas by combining old ones.

AI can help us with this process by giving us fast and new ways to get our ideas out and into a new form. Sketching quick diagrams is a good way to do this, and with AI we can turn these sketches into something more developed. The aim of this method is not to create a final product, or even an image that you will like! Instead, it will spark your creativity by highlighting the things that you do and do not like, and let you iterate on these ideas - trying the same thing over and over again until you get something useful.

Your task is to work in groups to come up with 5 ideas in a short time - just 10 minutes.

The ideas should all fit one of these briefs:

• Make a new product to help 4-6 year olds carry a drink with them on trips

• Create a digital sign that can attach to a bag that looks good and can display any message

• Create a form of transport for people with mobility issues to get around malls and parks

 

Choose one brief that you want to work on.

You must come up with 5 different ideas - this is so you don’t get stuck on any one idea and forget to consider other thoughts.
