In education, AI is being used in various ways to try to enable learners and educators to work more efficiently and to personalise the learning environment.

Duolingo is a popular language learning app, and it now uses AI algorithms to personalise the learning experience for users. It adapts to the performance of the user, adjusting difficulty levels and content based on their progress.

Khanmigo is an AI chatbot developed by Khan Academy - an non profit education project for learning. Their bot will adapt to the user, prompting them from topics they have already learnt to help them work out the answer to a problem without giving them the answer straight away. Coursera provides university-level courses to users. It now uses AI to recommend courses based on a user's interests, past learning experiences, and career aspirations. It also provides personalised feedback and assessments with AI.
